Win 8.1 : slow to access router homepage

When I try to use 192.168.0.1 to open up the homepage on my router, the web page just sits there and ignores me.

I get enough of that off the wife, I don't need my computer doing that too, so what is wrong? Is my computer marriage also on the rocks too?

I don't care about the other, but I want this relationship fixed.

Anyone know whats up?

Are you sure that's the IP of your router?

Does the router have a web interface?

Are you connecting to the correct port with the correct protocol?

Make sure scripts or ads blockers are not blocking it

I had this issues, Are you by any chance using home plugs? I fixed the issues by re syncing the home plugs and now it's fast and perfect.

Can you ping the IP? Whats the response time like?
