Bit of a long shot here, Pro upgrade applied to a computer (not mine, just the techie helpful friend) but not activated does anyone know of an easy way to roll back to core Win 8 without refreshing the system and loosing everything installed?
Restore points are non existent before upgrade.
I've found a reg edit way but that requires the install DVD and since its a pre-installed Windows we don't have that.
