Win 8 Release preview on this spec?

I was thinking of giving the Windows 8 preview a try out, are their any things I should know before I upgrade?

Will my specs be OK?

E6750 2.66GHz
4GB DDR2
5450 1GB GPU

Will this version of the preview just stop working when retail gets released?

It expires in January 2013 I think. It should run fine on that hardware.
