just broke my keyboard stand in anger with this.

i go to rename a file from within window explorer, i wait a second after clicking it and the file name is highlighted. i get to the point i want to rename by left/right clicking and start typing, and then the whole text gets rehighlighted again, so i go to the point i want to type and it does it again, or sometimes i can get there, start typing and whislt typing the whole text is highlighted and i've now removed the file name, so have to click escape, and start over again.

anyone get this issue? drives me crazy

Instead of using the mouse to click on the point you want to edit, try using the left / right cursor keys.

Or try right click / rename.

(If anything would make me break a keyboard stand, it's Windows going into rename mode because I clicked something that was highlighted. I wish I could turn that off)
