Ive got a Kingston USB 3.0 data key and everytime I remove from PC
it freezes and Says Windows to go workspace might crash if you remove usb key,

Im not wanting this function and dont know how it got there

Where's the windows to go workstation? A different USB drive?

Have you tried safely removing it, rather than just pulling it out.

Hi not sure what you mean all I did was install win8 pro today and have not setup a workstation I installed via DVD not usb but did keep all my USB connections connected when i moved from win 7?

You said windows to go workstation. Which is windows running on a USB drive you can just plug in anywhere.

Does it give an error code.

One thing to do is go. To device manager and make sure you have USB drivers installed, then go to relevant manufactures website and see if there's any newer USB drivers.

Also try removing them safely, rather than just pulling it out.

sorry no the problem im having is when I use my Kingston USB 3.0 to say move files between my two pc,s when its connected its fine on todays install but as soon as i disconnect the pc freezes and says WINDOWS TO GO WORKSPACE, KEEP THE USB PLUGGED IN only remove it after pc is shut down or you might lose data

I would reinstall and remove non essential USB devices while you install.

I have no idea why it's doing that. You shouldn't even have the option on windows pro.
It is a windows enterprise only feature. Where you install windows to the USB drive and so can take it with you and plug it in to another computer and have your computer with you anywhere.

Hence if its thinking its windows to go, it will crash if you remove it.

Is this a genuine copy of windows pro?
