Crysis-themed rig comes equipped with Maingear F131 case, **i7-3770K**, and two Radeon HD 7970s.

What a clanger they have dropped > Using a INTEL CPU > You would have thought a AMD Piledriver FX-8 Eight Core 8350 Black Edition.

Am l missing something here.

AMD are supplying 2 AMD GPU'S think about it yet using a INTEL CPU, what are you are implying about your own AMD CPU'S. Why not use both AMD GPU's + CPU not very good marketting strategy.

If Intel made GPU'S do you think they would agree to a AMD CPU being used?

Why slap my wrist , l'v put it in the wrong section.

Why does using the i7 making him an Intel fanboy?

If AMD GPU's were reviewed with AMD CPU's, people would cry foul as they'd be intentionally gimped.

7970 Crossfire/Trifire being reviewed with the "Best" AMD CPU at the time ; an FX8150.

AMD aren't kidding themselves, the best experience with the rig is with the 3770k over the FX8350.

Although, in Crysis 3, the FX8350 is quite a beast, so if it's a Crysis "themed" machine, I'd expect it to run an FX8350.
