We've teamed up with giffgaff and Multiplay to bring you an awesome Team Fortress 2 gaming competition which you can win an Ultima Extreme Envy Gaming system worth over £1500!

To find out how to enter click here: http://giff.ly/gggaming

The competition is run by giffgaff, but if you have any questions there will be a representative watching here :)

Absolutely awesome prize! Unfortunately I've never been really any good at that game. Think my reaction times have slowed in my old age. Good luck to all that enter

Just entered however I'm pretty rubbish at TF2, Ya'll better watch out for Anne Frank's Drum kit!

;D

From the sounds of it, it'll be prop-hunt or similar. So don't worry if you're no good at TF2. I'm sure they wouldn't run a competition based purely on skill!

Great work on the competitions OCUK! Barely a week goes by when there isn't a new one running!

This was an utter shambles.

They had no idea who was playing. i qualified for the semi finals buy couldnt join as when i joined the 9PM semi the admin banned me for joining even though im named a semi finalist.

The Admin in the group/server/chat did nothing despite myself and about 7 others having the same problem. They let people who didn't qualify into the semi's and didn't remove them to make room for those who did.

Then the Admin just get on with it screwing over those who qualified but were banned for joining when told to.

Strongly recommend OCUK NEVER deal with Giff gaff again. Horrible experience and competition. A number of those who participated and qualified were horribly cheated

Can't see how they can legitimately give any prizes away if they didn't allow the people who qualified to play and let people who didin't qualify play in the next round.

Personally if i were OCUK i would not give any prizes until the competition was done correctly.

Such a shame.

Hi guys, I didn't get to watch the tournament but from what im reading I need to stress everything was setup and organised by giffgaff. I'll see what's gone on.

We know Valkia, Just hope OCUK don't get involved with these cowboys again and tarnish your good name.

a lot of ****** off people in the event chat. People qualifying but then being banned when told to join for their time slot, Admin unwilling to help and allowing people in the semi's and even the final who hadn't qualified! People going through who didn't even score, 1 guy bagged 4 prop kills and was 1 of the last to die when he was the prop but didnt go through whilst a go with 0 score did.

this had all the potential to be a great fun competition and event. Just got majorly riled with how it was ran and that I was cheated out of my opportunity during the comp.

Yes i am a bit bitter :D

Hi,

Firstly I want to apologise to those who feel hard done by this event. Right now I am not sure the exact details of what happened, but on Monday I will be holding a review with the admins who officiated on the night to get to the bottom of it all. Once I have all the details I will check in with you.

Thanks for your understanding.

Sounds like it was awful, unless everyone was to create a new account I can't see how it'd have worked anyway.

Nice to see you guys are trying to get to the bottom of it however.

Easiest way to have done it would to have had a spreadsheet or DB with everyone who entered emails and steam ID/nick on it. When the next bracket eg semis, is to be played change the server password and either email or Pm it to the 26 folks due to play so only they could join.

They kept the password the same all night so anyone was joining. Then Willeth the admin running was commenting how much hard work and stressful it was.. Only because he made it so. It was a really easy event to organize.

There was 2 people Admining so more than enought to run it. 1 could have screenshotted the round ends to ensure we got the right people and ran the next qualifier while the other admin could have pulled those winning names from the DB and started pm-ing or sending a bulk mail with the new password.

What was more infuriating was that the admin were like "Oh well you missed your slot" because of their incompetence.
