Its sort of like a paid hobby... despite being well pocket money, beisides you don't really need to quit your main job to do it, plus you get to go to expirditions for well nothing :D

sounds like a fantastic offer for some of the guys and girls on this forum. i just wish i was one of those people. (to be honest, you couldnt pic a worse job for me than journalist)

I would absolutely love something like this as a bit of work on the side!

The only issue is the timings of the event. Say I entered this competition and won (albeit how small of a possibility that is), conflicts are bound to happen with college exams which are taken around May/June.

Mentoring from the most unprofessional man on the planet? Laughable really. Is he going to be mentoring on how to lure people in with angry snide comments followed by how to use the ban button because he's the only one allowed to be abusive on cadred?

This is a man who banned everyone on their website who had been obtained a ban that year, then made everyone request to be unbanned again...when he decided he didn't like one he'd give that person a torrent of abuse and delete any and all comments made in defense. Such a mature and professional establishment cadred are........

Don't waste your time.

EDIT: no doubt the next time I read cadred I'll be banned for airing my opinion.

Lets be honest though, apart from the odd interesting CS:GO article recently, the articles aren't all that interesting so it won't be a great loss :p just my opinion though.

If he had a shred of professionalism in him though he would read my comment, think about it and consider how he can act in a more professional manner in the future rather than simply banning or abusing me, because I'm certainly not the only person with these views. May gain some respect back that way even if he does claim that he doesn't care what people think about him, as I don't know a single person with a nice word to say about him currently.
