For the last couple of days I have had to run a repair on my PC.
Using last known "good Setting"??
I believe it was after Win 7 did some updates.

These was all successful

Should I uninstall these?

now the repair has been ran do you still get issues?

I am running windows 7 pro 64 bit and had no issues with all updates applied

what problems have you been getting? blue screen of death, freezes?

one thing that might be worth trying is load up command prompt as a admin (right click cmd.exe and click on "run as admin") and put in SFC /scannow

will check windows files to make sure none are corrupt or damaged and then repair them if its able too.

It just will not boot up, I have to do a system restore fot it to boot.

C:\Users\Toxicchimp>sfc/scannow

Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.

Beginning verification phase of system scan.
Verification 100% complete.
Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of th
em.

OK issue resolved. Before I did the updates I unplugged my external Seagate 4TB external drive. I plugged it back in to play Origin games. Since then my computer has not been able to boot. I have unplugged it again and have done to successful reboots no issues what so ever. Will check in the BIOS to see what went wrong:p

I had the exact same issue, ran a chkdsk /f and the PC boots ok but another sfc/scannow show the same unfixed errors message.

I'm keeping the install disk handy just in case.

if this is the case the PC is trying to boot from your external hard drive and not the HDD in the PC.

check the boot options in the bios and make sure that the HDD with windows on is the first boot drive and you shouldn't have anymore issues
