Win SMP Client

currently running a c2d 2.0ghz laptop with 2 normal folding @ home clients in different directories... whats this SMP client everyone is harping on about, and can someone give me easy instructions to get it going?

what sort of PPD improvement will I get ?

Hi,

I today got the SMP client for my C2D PC

I went from around 200PPD per WU (so around 400PPD with both single clients running) to around 1300ppd using just the one SMP client...

Took me around 2-3 hours to get it working PERFECT and as a service but is worth it!

Need any help with it just ask!

Obviously, it depends on the exact WU but you should get at least 1000PPD. My 1.66GHz C2D laptop gives around 900PPD with WinSMP.
