win vista x86 tips

Hi peeps,

just installed win vista x86 version

specs as stated in my sig

i was wondering if anyone had any tips n tricks I would benefit from? all ideas would be most appreciated

any which would improve performance or help me organisation or for my system to perform better?

p.s. i have been downloading apps such as winrar, etc which are compatible with win vista is that correct??
