Win XP Home - Driver update

Hello,

I backed up all my drivers and now re-formatted. All my drivers i had (99) are in seperate folders saved in a folder on my desktop.

The only thing is device manager only shows 2 things under 'other' which need attention/drivers

however everything almost needs drivers, how can i re-install all the drivers please?

i know theres a 'search within folder' thing but there is so many an so many different versions that its too hard to guess which folder to search out of the 99.

please help

Just download new drivers for your hardware. Can't see you really needing drivers for 99 different hardware devices.

hey,

windows has already installed like 90% of them but the ones they use work as they should as they must be older versions or something or another.

i need to re-instate what i have.

And what do you have? A visit to the manufacturers websites will usually give you all the drivers you need, bet you'll only need half a dozen drivers at most on a clean install.
