If you're talking about Windows XP 32-bit, it will be aroung 3GB. If you have or are thinking about getting 4GB of memory, then the only way you will be able to utilise it all is if you move to a 64-bit Operating System, weather that be Windows XP 64-bit or Windows Vista 64-bit.
ok thanks 4 ya help bud
i am getting new build,getting 2 gig for the mo,32 bit op,i think.[xp black]
will move 2 vista once they sort it out 4 games or sp1 comes out.
I think it's quite well know now that upgrading Ram from 2gb to 4gb makes a difference in Vista. I wonder if going from 2gb to 3.2gb in XP makes a difference.
Any users out there that have maxed out Ram in XP?
