my laptop has gone down the pan. im in windows xp cd boot up and want to repair it but was wondering, if i do a repair with the cd, will i lose those contents in my pictures folder?
No, it will only overwrite the Windows system files and folders, so all documents, programs etc are all still there. But with all things, it is always best to have a backup just in case things go pear shaped.
