Win10 how to control receiver volume?

I've just setup an HTPC and it's running Windows 10 x64 and Kodi. My issue is that the volume controls on my remote (Rii Mini R8) only work on the Windows volume and doesn't adjust the volume on my receiver (connected via HDMI).

Does anyone know how I can remedy this?
