win10 messing was audio??

just having a slob-about in the house with some music on and i just noticed that when the music get loud the audio lever drop to keep the sound output at the same Db range all the time?
at first i thought it was in my head but when i pause then play the volume go to where it should be, but the next time the noise level hit a high point it drops again.

WHAT THE HELL WINDOWS..... now microsoft ever tell you how loud your music can be...

Plz ppl how do i stop this?

What are you using to play music?

Some soundcards have such functionality i.e. the X-Fis and other creative cards in software.

Some media software like Spotify has the option in advanced settings which for some reason randomly gets enabled/disabled after some updates to Spotify :S
