No hardware changes. Don't think it coincided with any software updates.
PC freezes. Still have mouse movement and left click, registers the click on icons but nothing loads. Right click doesn't work. Music continues to play but no new sounds will occur. Cannot CTRL+ALT+Delete however can launch task manager through cmd. It fails to populate however and none of the tabs work.
Have to hard power off.
Event log shows nothing. Windows reliability monitor shows nothing.
Tried windows repair which was successful but didn't solve the issues.
If anyone has any ideas i'm all ears!
