win7 32 and 64 bit - same key?

hi guys

i purchased 32bit pro upgrade (student) edition last year. i am thinking to get another 4GB to make total of 8GB. so i am wondered if i need to purchase 64bit key? or use same key?

Yep, same key. I phoned up and asked when I did exactly the same.
Only thing is, when you re-register it, you might need to call them and just say you've formatted + added new memory or something

Your licence covers you to use either 32-64Bit . All you need is the correct installation media.
