Win7 + 5970?

5970 in crossfire. Wouldnt be surprised if there was BSOD. look at the ammount of power 1 has...imagine 2! or 3...or 4 if your mega not right in the head.
Theres so much power in the card and ati havnt released the proper drivers. Therefore expect crashes.

I'm getting the 5970 and using it with Win 7 x64... was after any stability experience people have with that setup.
The crossfire bit was with reference to it being dual GPU but also from fellow PC enthusiasts saying that dual 5870s (crossfired) caused BSOD-a-plenty.

I'm running the 5970 on Win7 x64. I've had it lock while installing the DiRT2 hotfix drivers, though my card was overvolted at the time so it might be best not to read too much into it. The drivers are still at an early stage and I've had a few issues in certain games (some missing textures in Borderlands) but overall it's a very decent setup. Certainly the most flaky ATi release for a long while but seeing that they haven't even released final drivers for it I'm not worried.
