Hi there

Could some of u knowlegeable guys please confirm
that this is totally compatible with Win 7 64 bit
even after firmware upgrade maybe?

Netgear DG834PN 108Mbps RangeMax ADSL2+ Modem/Router
From OCUK.

This is to replace a Buffalo WBMR-G54 adsl modem which
i can not get to connect to Win7 64bit OS, as the drivers for the
usb connector are not available and Buffalo don't seem to
be bothering with 64bit Os's. :(

This seems an ideal replacement and also comes with USB
connector which is a bonus :D,if not could u recomened
another with simular specs and 64 bit compatibility.

Currently on Bulldog broadband 8meg and quite happy to stay
that way,so nothing to fancy just a good solid modem
for Mo's and general internet stuff.

Any help would be most appreciated

Cheers.

The WBMR-G54 is a router which uses ethernet. It's compatible, whether your "USB adapter" (wireless card?) is compatible with Windows 7 is the issue.

Routers don't need drivers so will work with any OS you like so long as it does a protocol that both can deal with (i.e. ethernet). The issue is with wireless adapters.
