i am also thinking a corrupt driver, with your pc, you should be fine running bfbc2.
also in crashing, is this the game freezing or the pc restarting?
also welcome :)

no, doesnt restart just it jutters for 3-5 secs then just freezes, also when playing bfbc2 sometimes if i doesnt crash, the screen goes blank to a white screen, if it is a bad driver how do i find it ?

many thanks guys

Windows 7 x64 shouldn't be a problem, as it is solid as rock. I play BFBC2 fine on my rig.

If the game is jittery, I would guess it would be the graphics. Are all your other drivers 100 percent up to date?

Welcome to the forums by the way :)

BFBC2 has a bug pre patch where selecting anything other than low quality sound would cause a grey screen freeze after 10 mins or so. Is it this you are experiancing?

Change sound settings or update game.

EDIT: cat 11.8 also has a bug under 7x64 with BFBC2 causing crashes after a set time of play. Try 11.4 or 11.6

System temperatures? Download HWMonitor from CPUID and run that before some gaming. Does your PC have good air flow? Full of dust?

the game is patched up 2 date, the game only jutters just before it crashes not before, all drivers up to date, dust free as i clean it regular, i have nod 32 smart security and malware bytes pro. also its a clean installasion from about 2 months ago as i thought that would sort the issue:(

il try a older ati driver but its really anoying, and its not the only game this is happening with. Is there a way to test if the gpu is faulty iv try gpu/cpu-z and they show nothing :(

thanks all for the help guys
