win7 and drivers

I intend to install win 7 premium 64 bit . clean install

i have a asus p5e mobo. will i still need to install the marvell yukon gigabyte ethernet driver from my mobo disc and soundcard driver and usb2 or will win 7 do it for me. i heard someone had trouble installing from the disc and wont they be for win xp anyway? thanks

windows will more than likely detect it all by itself but you're always better off getting the latest drivers from the manufacturer website.

I didn't have to install any drivers at all for Win7 64. Everything was done itself, including onboard lan, sound, etc..

Only thing i installed was ATI CCC.
