Windows 7 has fantastic driver support, but it is never a guarantee.

I am sure someone will know, but for the little effort it takes I would have the drivers ready just in case. If all goes well you won't need them. If you do, well, you have them right there! :)

I'm assuming you're using the Intel ICH10R SATA ports? If so it will detect the RAID and load the RAID drivers during the install. I'm not sure if you're using the JMicron ports.

Just whack in your motherboard details there and select your OS as Win7 (Win64 bit doesn't show drivers for me but under Win7 says drivers are for all Windows based systems).

Looks like there are updates there a plenty. To be honest I bet it will work without drivers but just in case you can go here and install the newest drivers/etc.

You don't need them. I would recommend you install these after install; http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=2101&DwnldID=17882&lang=eng which is the latest public drivers/Matrix Storage Manager rather than anything off the Asus website.

Assumimg you are using Intel ICH10 R cont, then simply enable RAID in (mobo) BIOS, then set up RAID in the RAID bios, and proceed with Win 7 install and it will automatically install the correct drivers (these are Microsoft ICHxR drivers which have TRIM support), then when install is complete, install the Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility, then install the Intel Matrix Storage Manager and you can also update the ICHxR drivers to the latest from Intel, but these will not (at the moment) supoort TRIM...

OP Shouldn't need TRIM support unless they are SSDs not HDs

Thanks for the replies.

My main concern was that if I had to install the drivers from a floppy drive which I do not have.

Looks like win7 will automatically do the trick.

And yes they are hdds, not ssd ;)

Just recently installed Windows 7 on my 2 x 150GB Raptors in RAID 0, MSI P55-GD53 motherboard (intel) - can confirm no user supplied drivers are needed (via floppy or USB) to pick up the raid array on installation.
