My build:
AMD Bulldozer FX-4100 Quad Core 3.6Ghz
Gigabyte 880GM-USB3 HDMI Rev 3.1
4Gb DDR3 1333Mhz
ATI Radeon 4350
80Gb and 320Gb HDD - Sata
Sony DVD - Sata

My present system is an Intel 775 Core2 Duo on an Abit I-45C with 2Gb mem.

My problem is that neither WinXP nor Win7 will load. What happens is the rig powers up and Posts but as soon as it starts to load either Windows the machine reboots. I have checked all the connections and checked the Bios settings but can't see what the problem is. I even tried to re-install WinXP but after it loaded all the files it gave me a BSOD. I know Windows needs to be re-activated after a major rebuild but can't see that this would not even allow you to boot into even Safe Mode. It is a few years since I last self-built so am a bit rusty. I would appreciate if anyone can give me some idea's about solving this.

You need to re-install, not repair. Expecting a prior install to work on a new machine of such differing chipsets is just asking for these exact issues.

Re-install definitely, it's not worth trying to force it to work and you will probably have to reactive Windows anyway (by calling them).

Anyway the geek in me wants to say that you are probably getting BSOD 0x0000007B which is inaccessible boot device, and is fixed by setting the SATA operation mode the same as the previous build (AHCI/ATA/RAID etc)

It's always a good rule to reinstall Windows when you change the motherboard, this is to avoid any major driver conflicts, which seems to be the cause for you right now.
