Win7 Biometric Disabled

Guys,

My company has released a Win7 Dev image and I am interested in something they have done in the registry to disable the inbuilt biometric reader.

When trying to setup it advises that biometric has been disabled so assume it is something in the registry as I have reinstalled the fingerprint software.

Anyone any ideas where to look in the registry?

Search the registry for: WbioSrvc

Cheers for this, I have searched and there are many entries, presume there is something set to 0 that should be a 1? Can you be a little more exact to where I should find it?

All sorted now! Seems you cannot use biometric for the inbuilt Administrator account, all i done was create a new account and works without issue :-)
