Win7 - cant complete install

Hi Guys,
Hope someone can help with this.
Been trying and trying to install win 7 rc 7100. Everything seems to be fine then it just stops and i have a black screen with nothing but a little message bottom right saying

Windows7
Evaluation copy. Build 7100

I have waited more than an hour for installation to complete. I have re-installed several times. I have downloaded a fresh copy and re-burnt the iso. nothing. same thing again and again.
I have been using a clean install onto a 250gig maxtor that was my main hd until i bought a samsung 1TB F1. Disk was clean, no probs with it.

My system
E8400
4Gig Kingston HyperX 8500
Radeon 4870 1gig
Asus P5K SE
XP Pro

Everything is on the Samsung now and i wiped the Maxtor to use for trying out 7.

Any ideas why 7 will not finish the install?

This will sound like a stupid question but, you dont have two monitors connected do you? My 7 install swapped from showing on my main monitor to my secondary even though it was turned off. Long shot but worth saying

That was the problem. It just didnt occur to me. I had the HDTV hooked up to the PC via HDMI. As soon as unplugged it the installation completed. Thanks for the help, much appreciated.:)
Now i just have to sort out a few other little probs - wireless internet. Probably have to reinstall the router and the ISP's software that came with it.
I must admit i like the look of win7.
Is anyone playing any games on it? Does it run directex 10?
