Can I turn off the crappy light blue highlight boxes around the desktop icons that appears when you hover or click on them ?
I've tried enabling/disabling drop shadows and changing the colour of "selected items" in advanced display properties but to no avail.
Am I stuck with the hospital gown blue boxes or can it be changed ?
In XP it was something to do with locking or unlocking web items on desktop but I can't find the option in Windows 7.
The old path I believe was "rightclick/arrange icons/lock web items"
Any help would be great.
