Win7 Icons

In 7 is there an option like the taskbar to make the Icons small? They are HUGE and I am not blind like microsoft thinks all its users are. only thing i managed to find was text size and that was default small. my resolution is at its native 1360x720 which is correct for my 40" and everything else is fine .but I would like to see more of the screen as the icons are so damn big

Right click > Properties on the task bar, you'll find the option to change the size and other settings under there.

With focus on the desktop, you could try holding ctrl down and scrolling your mouse wheel. Works in Vista so might work in Win7 too...
