I have been trying to install the PC driver for my Roland TD-15 electric drum kit but it's stuck in an install/uninstall loop.
Every time I use the installer, it wants me to uninstall as a problem has occurred. This is of course without the drum kit plugged in. After I uninstall, restart and run installer again it just says a problem has occurred and asks me to use the uninstaller again. Okay, I run uninstaller again, restart and then back to square one. I'm also using the correct driver for Windows 7.
I then checked the file repository and all the Roland driver files are sitting there. I used Windows Driver Storer Explorer (Rapr.exe) but it didn't have the Roland driver when enumerating. I then tried adding the driver but it stated the .inf file didn't feature an install.
I then tried to manually delete the folder but it won't let me and I can't change the permissions to allow me as an admin to edit the System32 folder.
I'm stumped now and really want to start recording.
