i have an old desktop PC with single disk. i'd like to use it as a NAS for home network. nothing big. just a simple single disk NAS.
i will use windows 7 cos of its simplicity. if anything goes wrong like power supply pop or motherboard dies. i simply pop it in dock station to my main PC via usb to recover.
anyway. i'm thinking about sleep mode. if the win7 NAS is in sleep mode. can it wake up by accessing to it via network? ie, i use western digital live TV box. will it wake the nas up when i browse videos if you know what i mean?
