Got a netwrok drive mapped via a wireless connection and every time Win7 startsup it says it cant connect but if you double click it in my computer it can access it no problem.

Is it something to do with the wireless network not connecting quick enough? And if so is there anything I can do to sort it?

Thanks

Rather than having windows map the drive, why dont you stick a small script in your startup folder but have a small 30 second delay on the mapping, so by the time it runs, your wireless connection will have been established

Something like this will do:

Wscript.Sleep 30000
Set objNetwork = CreateObject("WScript.Network")
objNetwork.MapNetworkDrive "G:" , "\\PATH\SHARE"

Obviously change G:, Path, and Share names as desired - Save as map_drives.vbs and slap in your startup folder
