Since upgrading from the beta of Win7 to RTM, it seems BBC HD doesnt work properly anymore, lots of corruption after about 20 seconds.

Lots of other people are suffering too, see here

Im just wondering if anyone here has the same problem.

Someone mentioned it might be an ATI problem, I migth fish out m old 9500GT.

Thoughts?

Keeps us up to date .. Not used windows 7 on my Pc with the tuner card but my main Pc has a Blackgold 6-1 and it works very well with the patch for HD in media centre. This will be a shame to upgrade and not have that.

I was pulling my hair out with different drivers and stuff before I came across this thread. Hopefully something will get fixed soon, as BBC HD is one of the big reasons for using 7MC for me. And its been working fine for months with the various Beta's I've tried.

Well hope you get it sorted mate i dont use my tuner card much but it will bug me knowing its not working and it was working even with ITV HD

Was ITV HD ok with the Beta ?

Yeah ITV HD is fine, and it still works, its just BBC HD that is bugged, due to a change with their encoding that the MS decoder doesnt like (that's what people are thinking anyway)

I am using W7 on my media PC and I use DVB Viewer (paid for) to watch BBC HD with no problems at all. I realise that DVB viewer is not free but I do like using it and it works great with my card.

So does it work for you in 7MC?

What decoder are you using for DVBViewer?

I am using build 7201 of Windows 7x64 and using a Pinnacle 7010ix card with Windows OWN drivers. These drivers are the only ones I found working with a x64 build and 4gb of RAM.

It was all working with WMC but I use a Vista RC and so have disable most of WMC so that TGB (the green button) and other aspects of the RC work with Media Portal and so does not try and launch WMC.
