Forgive me if this is the wrong place I've no idea if it's hardware or software related at this point.

THE PROBLEM

when minimizing foobar (playing music) or Firefox (youtube playing music) or even changing from one tab to the other the audio starts to crackle and pop.

THE FACTS

It's a fresh build only a few days old
Windows 7 32bit Enterprise
ASUS M4A78LT-M Motherboard

Using onboard sound

VIAtech Vinyl HD audio
Package Version 7.9.00.32
Codec version 6.0.1.7900
Windows 7 Direct x11

Changing biterate and Hz doesn't help. Sound in full screen games is fine, sound in full screen applications is fine, it's when they are minimized or another program is brought up full screen that the sound starts to cackle and pop.

Any help appreciated,

Majik/Jonny

Im in the same position, mine works fine for abit and then randomly starts poping and crackling or even sometimes plays slow mo. I did manage to sort it out last time but cant remember how I did it as ive since resetted all settings on motherboard and WIN7. So will need to check and report back when I get home
