Hey all

I have Win7 64 Pro installed and have a Vertex2 100gb SSD as my main C drive.

This drive is getting full and I don't have time to do a fresh install as I run my business from this machine.

I have told windows to use my other 2 SATA drives for paging file with my SSD set to "NO Page File" but it's still using my SSD... I have also just upgraded my ram from 6 to 12gb today and it doesn't seem to want to use the ram either.

I am trying to do some image manipulation in Photoshop and the constant "Scratch Disks are Full" message is really starting to get annoying...

Any ideas???

Uninstall some junk?

Do disk cleanup?

Turn off recovery on that disk?

Windows is awful at handling it's page file and doesn't really like not having it on C:

which version of win7 do you have?
here are the max for each version
•Windows 7 Professional- 192 GB
•Windows 7 Ultimate- 192 GB
•Windows 7 Enterprise – 192 GB
•Windows 7 Home Premium – 16 GB
•Home basic – 8 GB

also the page file needs to be on the fastest drive to not slow down the system
