Ello all,

Been absolutely ages since I've done anything remotely like this.
Im trying to create a new VM using the built in software in Win7.

I'ts seeing my ubuntu iso and starting the installation.
I have set the drive space available to the VM to 8Gb but whenever I get to the point of installation within the VM it says it needs a minimum of 4.8Gb space free.

The HDD is currently empty :/

Any ideas?

EDIT: If the ubuntu setup if I goto about this computer it says the HDD is 525.9MB

Can't really see anything on the forum about it :(
Might just try a reinstall

The 8GB HDD is on my SSD with my windows install

i5 3570k
16Gb RAM
Sandisk Extreme SSD
6950 2GB

Yeah might try the 64bit one, initially I went with the 32bit one as all its for is to have a quick poke about

Tried them all this morning, gave it an extra CPU, more memory, more Vram.
Still the same, guess I'm reinstalling when I get in from work.

Yeah got to terminal and tried those commands in the vid you linked.
Will be DLing the ISO again (was direct from the ubuntu hoempage) when I get in from work
