Win98 forcing screen size

Hi guys

I need some help with my dad's laptop, he's running win98 (sad i know) and it seems to be forcing the screen size into VGA mode and restricting the size and down to 16 bit colour mode.

He's got a Toshiba laptop, any idea's???

This usually happens if you don't install the correct display drivers. Also another obvious problem is you're using windows 98 Just a thought, but try re-installing the drivers or downloading some more up-to-date ones

Also, try a program called "unknown devices" incase you're unsure what model the graphics card is.
