winamp download?

is there a light winamp download?
one without all the yahoo toolbar, emusic and other rubbish software. Just want the full program

They probably hide it away so that most people buy Winamp from them.

Are you checking the options? You should be able to untick it.

Hmm. How big was the file you downloaded?

What is Winamp installing the toolbar into? Firefox? You might be able to delete the files for that.

yeh ie and firefox, I've unistalled the software. Just wished software didn't come with these silly addons. I suppose it makes them money though.

Yeah that'll be it most likely. Bit cheeky of them. I can't find anything on Winamp.com that mentions the Yahoo toolbar.

I like my programs without all the bloat too, which is why I'm using version 2.81 from 2002 with DFX 3.0 :eek:

V5.3 is excellent just remove the add ons it's only yahoo toolbar. Go for the full winamp though. The lite version doesn't have bento skin included

I went to the Winamp site to find out what the new versions do better but didn't spot much. Is it 'coz all I need is an mp3/flac player as opposed to a "media player" - no need to 'upgrade'..
