Winamp help please

Right, when i go to add new media to winamp, it always starts off in its own directory. My music is located on a nother drive and through a few folders, which gets tiresome. Is there any way i can set it to go straight to that folder when i want to add media? I already have the folder as a watch folder so thats not an option

If I understand what you mean then my Winamp just opens up a dialog box pointing to "My Computer".

So you want Winamp to show your media folder on the other drive first?

Can you not consolidate your monthly outgoings...er I mean music folders into one? I have a 'Winamp' folder on D:\ where I store my music. Means I can format C:\ without losing my music.
 
If you've got it set as a watch folder, just have Winamp rescan the watch folders (in the options), and it should add anything it finds.
 
Yea its set to watch, but ive got a fair few files so it takes a little while to do, so its just as easy to find it on my PC. Its just annoying that it always opens to the winamp directory where i dont store my music.
I guess it cant be done then :( tres annoying
 
Are we talking about the 'Add media to Library' option?
Because mine always goes to the last folder it opened. Which happens to be where all my music is stored.
