I've installed Winamp v5.32 in vista and i'm experiencing some weird problems. First off it crashes every couple of hours, i can cope with that but the annoying thing is every now and then it will decide to remove everything from the libraray.....but it contiues to play everything fine  . So the library is empty, but the playlist is still full and plays fine!

Anyone else expericened this problem or have any ideas what could be wrong? Or can anyone convert me to another media player (music only)?

I think I might have found the problem. It has only started doing this since I've been using my usb stick. I think it seems to crash when I take the stick out or alter the data on it. Also everytime I put the stick in it adds 2 folders on the stick called 'Music' and 'Playlists'.

It's as if winamp think that the stick is the library, hence it uses the contents of the stick (empty) as the library  .

Any ideas how to get round this? I've searched ll the options in winamp but I cant find anything applicable.
