Winamp & Win 10 Issues or ?

Ok, I have NEVER had this issue before, and I cannot really pin-point the true reason for it doing it, but...

Ok, Its happening right now, and for the last few weeks, its been ok, but it has happened before, and the same thing is what is happening before.

I try to play any music through WinAmp, and either the little Visual EQ window in the main WinAmp window sort of does a Knightrider style back and forth and it does nothing else, or, WinAmp itself simply does not come up, and the window thats displaying the MP3 list of files hangs and becomes unresponsive.

I can happily use any other app to play MP3s but I have always used WinAmp since ... Hell, since I had my 386 & Win95 FFS!

Addition:

I just had to go into Task Manager to kill off WinAmp, when it just re-opened up and I dragged & Dropped an MP3 onto it and I tried to play it but it did the srolly bars again?

There's no issues if you use the latest version available on their forum.

Ah heck... No, sorry, when I said I have used WinAmp for so many years, I did not mean that I use the very same version in all that time! - LOL - I do use the latest version, and I have paid for it too!

I have found the problem, and its the Drivers for the SoundCard. I reinstalled them from the Driver CD and it has cured all my issues.

Typical... I love Creatiove for years and I moved to Asus and every card I have, has given me some issue or other... Asus are not as good as they are cracked up to be. Im going back to Creative for my next card.
