Sorry, didnt know where to put this.
I am running version 2.5e of winamp (i know its 7 years old but i like it) and it cannot play wma files. The strange thing is that on my mates computer also running the same version it can. It just skips the file. I have an output plugin called 'WMA output plugin but next to it, it says NO CODEC INSTALLED'
I have waveout selected and my audigy2 as the output device.
Any clues anyone? like where I could get the possibly needed codec
