just a quick question. whats the best version of winamp to use? im sick of media player and itunes, but i heard winamp went ***** after it was bought by aol? cheers

I've got the current version and am using the foton skin. No problems over here.

Get the new version and when you come to install it you can disable the AOL stuff and all the other junk.

Yes, it's as easy to use as the older versions though it's got lots of skin support. I use my monitor at a resolution which is too high to really appreciate the winamp3 skins properly so I just stick to the blocked appearance ones.
