Hi,

I just received two 512mb sticks of Kingston Value PC3200 which has Winbond BH-5 IC's!

Code is W942508BH-5.

Anyone have any experience of these?
Will they be any use in my new build consisting of an OPTY 165 and an ASUS A8N-E mobo? (planning to reach 2.5-2-6ghz with the opty)

PITA!

heh, system wouldnt boot.
I tried the BH sticks on my NF7s Rev2 board and I only get continous long beeps with them. Regardless of which one I use in any slot. Two sticks give the same error.

The ram is rated at 2.5v. Lowest setting on the NF7 is 2.6, but that should not be a problem with Bh5!

Are these sticks borked? Gonna clear cmos and see if it helps.

Indeed, Also remember it probably wont even post at cas3

it doesnt post at all :) Just the beeps :/
Should I slap in some other ram to gain access to bios and change the cas?
If so, what timings should input so the BH-5 actually works when I put it in?

:D
