Went up to the wind turbines tonight to try and get some sunset shots. I left it a little late and a huge bank of clouds rolled in just as a I arrived - so no sunset, but some moody skies instead. Will have to go back up there once the wheat has grown higher, I'm sure it'll look amazing.

The noise these things make is fanatastic, especially when you're stood right beneath them.

I really like the third one, has a lot of cykey about it too. What did you do? Increase the saturation and...? :)

EDIT: or actually is it a HDR?

Its just a really heavily adjusted curves layer (pulled the curve almost entirely to the bottom), with the grass and other details brought back with some selective erasing. So no HDR at all, although I was hoping someone would think it was :p

Fear not Dulcymea! Don Quichote is on his way! The turbines look so fantastically grim and spooky those pictures look instantly floggable to any lobby group with beef against wind power. :D

Excellent shots mate.

Bother! You beat me to it!

Went out on a wind farm shoot a couple of weeks ago but have been tied up with work and have therefore yet to fully process the shots and remove the blasted dust bunnies that appeared! Must post some shots soon.....
