Last of a few posts for me. A lot of folks criticise these turbines for being an eyesore, but I can't help thinking in the right light, they can look quite imposing and impressive.

I was trying out a bit of long exposure stuff, using a Kenko CPL as a 2-stop ND in lieu of a proper ND filter, and stopping down to f/22 or smaller to get the exposure times up sufficiently. On processing, I was mortified to discover just how much dust there was on my sensor!! One purchase of Eclipse fluid later, one shiny clean sensor, but it certainly took a while to de-bunny these few......

As an engineer I love this type of stuff. Turbines are great.

Although I like the sky in #1 most, #2 and 4 win it for me. I love the movement, which must have been a push to get when shooting towards the sun!

You may want to try cloning out the flare in #1, I found it a little distracting, although it's not like it's ugly...

Fair point...how about this one?

I think that the 2nd one is the best, the blur of the blades really adds to a great shot.

I agree, #2 is the best of the lot. Great composition, and the motion blur looks great. :p
