I had issues with a users account still being on my system even though i had removed it a year ago, when sorting it out i saw on the c drive there was a public folder, looking on the net i see its so any user can share without permissions. Can you move it to another harddrive? or is it best to leave alone?

Thanks

You can move the actual contents of the folder if you want to. Just go into the Public folder and go to the properties of any of the folders within, from the Location tab you can then set where you want that folder to be stored.

Thanks, I will try that it sounds simple i had asked a mate before and he said you can only change the location by going into regedit.

Just ignore it. If you have to share the PC with other users, tell them to save files in their own folders only - anything else will be nuked!!
