I have an old laptop kicking around that I'm going to put Ubuntu on. It only has an 800Mhz CPU and 128MB ram so I'm looking for a window manager a little light weight as I presume KDE and Gnome may be a little to much hard work for it. Any ideas? :)

Openbox would run nicely, ive been using it for a while on similar specs.

If you want a desktop environment as well then XFCE should just about run ok as would LXDE :)

There's also Peppermint Linux, which is based on Ubuntu though designed for fast booting with LXDE as its window manager and using a lot of cloud-based applications.
