Window replacement options

So some oiks derived pleasure from smashing my rear drivers side passenger window.
The didn't take anything..

I've not had to get side glass replaced before, my insurance says its covered, but doesn't mention anything about paying the excess?
Does that mean they completely cover it, or is it just assumed that you will pay the excess on any claim?
If I do claim on the insurance, will it affect my future premiums? (I'm assuming my NCB is safe)

The only time I had one replaced I had to pay something like £50 and it didn't have to be declared.

It'll count as a windscreen claim. They don't affect NCB or need to be declared. There's usually a £50-125 Excess.

You'll pay whatever the windscreen excess is.

Appears they have damaged the window trim as well, looks like a hole punched through it, my Spanish isnt perfect but I think he said they used a screw driver placed against the trim then hit with something, looks like an insurance claim
