window resize in vista

Hi,

i wondered if any one can tell me why it is that if i re size a window on the desktop it always reverts back to the old size after a reboot, and yes i have used the size option in the menu.

Depends on the app to be honest doesn't it? With some apps you can get it to remember the size by pressing CTRL when closing the app but if the app never saves this info in the first place it wouldn't work.

Vista is really bad for this and it's always bugged the hell outta me. There was a site that i found Googling the issue that listed a reg fix which worked well for me but you'd have to do a search yourself for that.


Alternatively have a read of this article. A couple of useful Vista tools for re-sizing windows etc.
