Basically there must have been a bit of stone under my wiper blade and its left a 1 inch scratch bang in the middle of my driver side front window when I used the wipers today. It's very slight but noticeable when the sun hits it.

Anyone know a way to get rid? A good polish with decent glass cleaner? Or will I possible need an acrylic filler or something?

Thanks

hmm, perhaps my english was unclear.

The drivers' side of my windscreen. Rather than the front drivers' side window.

It's certainly possible to polish very shallow scratches out with a machine polisher and something quite abrasive, but due to the curve on a windscreen you can create a flat spot that causes an issue with the wipers.

It might just be better to ignore it, or if you can't and have a fully combo insurance policy, get the screen replaced for £60/70.

Aye, fully comp insurance. I'm amazed at the number of people elsewhere who have suggested that a large stone finds it's way in to the middle of my windscreen!
